Cleaning
Our staff will clean the villa every other day, except on Sundays, and change the bed linen and towels. They are also happy to drop off your laundry at a nearby facility for cleaning.
Meals
Our staff will cook upon request. They specialise in Indonesian cuisine but can prepare Western-style breakfasts and would be happy to cook whatever you like.
If you require anything give our staff a shopping list and they will be more than happy to purchase whatever your heart desires.
For the foodies staying with us, we are located in the hotspot of world class dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For a simple family dinner Vanessa recommends a Sunday Roast at The Plumber’s Arms, fabulous Japanese at Kunti 3 or even a wood-fired pizza oven at Warung Italian just down the road that pumps out pizzas just like Vanessa’s Italian mamma makes them – delizioso!
For groceries and staples, Pepito a large gourmet supermarket is a stone’s throw away from the villa or, for those looking for a more organic experience head over to Bali Buda, an iconic purveyor of organic produce, raw ingredients and superb bakery. They will make you up 1 litre of fresh almond milk for only 20,000 Rp ($2AUD). For great coffee head over to Canggu for the plethora of cafés and restaurants that line the boulevard down to Berawa Beach.
Feel free to email us for recommendations on the best places to eat during your stay in Bali. Vanessa, who runs her food blog, would be thrilled to share her top picks with you. We can also assist in making reservations for you.
Transportation
Drivers and cars are available upon request for airport pick-up and drop-off at the villa – please provide your arrival and departure times and we can provide a quote for this service.
You are also free to book our driver and car for private use. Rates are $50US per day (based on an 8-hour day).
Scooters are also affordable to rent. Please let us know in advance and we will arrange the hire for you.
Spa Treatments
As part owners of Lady Marmalade Spa we can also arrange private spa treatments at the villa upon request. Or, we can arrange for you to go directly to our spa. All guests staying with us will receive a 20% discount on all treatments at the spa.
Babysitting
With two small children of our own, we are well versed in how important it is to safely entrust your children to the right person even if it’s for an hour or two. Please contact Vanessa directly to arrange for any of our own three personal nannies to babysit for you. For daytime hours, playgroups are also available nearby. We recommend a drop-in at Umalas Kid’s Club for babies and up to 6 years old or at Spice Play Umalas nearby for children under 3.
Amusing the Kids
We are conveniently located near several major attractions that will keep the kids entertained. Nearby, you’ll find the Canggu Club, which features a waterpark, the Indoor Trampoline Centre (Bounce), and an indoor bowling alley. We are also just 10 minutes from the local waterpark Taman Segara Madu. Additionally, you can visit the play centre at Bale Udang on Nakula, where the cost of entry is simply a coconut water. Local beaches, including Pantai Batu Belig, Pantai Berawa, and Pantai Petitenget, are also close by.
Doctor & Medical Services
We have our local doctor, Dr Ristie situated within 6 minutes from our villa. Fluent in English, just ask our staff to book you in and take you if you need any medical assistance. Siloam Hospital on Sunset Road is where we recommend for any other emergencies.
